OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Alexandria, VA by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

HMD Trucking seeks experienced OTR CDL-A dry van drivers out of Alexandria, VA to haul reliable freight nationwide. You’ll run long-haul routes in late-model trucks (under 3 years) equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers, backed by in-house maintenance. Pay begins at 65 CPM with typical weekly mileage near 2,500 and bonuses for safety, clean inspections and referrals. Home every two weeks and full benefits are provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate dry van tractors safely on OTR routes across the U.S.
- Conduct thorough inspections, secure cargo and keep accurate logs.
- Coordinate with dispatch and adhere to schedules.
Qualifications:
- CDL-A license and minimum 12 months verifiable experience.
- Strong safety focus and professional conduct.
