OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Athens, GA by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Work nationwide as an OTR solo CDL-A dry van driver based out of the Athens area for HMD Trucking. The position focuses on long-haul freight movement, strict ELD and safety compliance, load securement, and timely communication with dispatch and customers to ensure reliable deliveries.
Primary responsibilities:
- Transport dry van loads across national lanes and adhere to company safety standards.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and notify maintenance as needed.
- Keep precise logs, billing paperwork, and professional customer relations.
HMD provides late-model tractors with APUs, inverters and sleepers, dependable in-house maintenance, pay starting at 65 CPM (about 2,500 miles/week average), safety/referral bonuses, biweekly home time and full benefits. CDL-A and 12+ months verifiable experience required.
