OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Bear, DE by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Run nationwide dry van freight for HMD Trucking from Bear, DE as a solo OTR driver focused on safety and consistent service. The role centers on long-haul driving, securement and inspection of loads, accurate recordkeeping, and cooperative communication with operations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver dry van loads on long-haul routes and maintain on-time performance.
- Conduct required pre/post-trip checks and report maintenance concerns.
- Keep precise logs and interact professionally with customers and dispatch.
Benefits: late-model equipment (under 3 years) with APU, inverter and sleeper; starting pay at 65 CPM (avg ~2,500 mi/wk), safety/referral bonuses, in-house maintenance, regular home time, and comprehensive health and retirement benefits. CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months driving experience required.
