OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Cape Girardeau, MO by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Join HMD from Cape Girardeau, MO to run over-the-road dry van freight nationwide. You'll operate late-model equipment (under 3 years) with APUs, inverters and sleepers, supported by in-house maintenance for dependable operations. Drivers receive mileage pay starting at 65 CPM with weekly averages around 2,500 miles plus bonuses for safe driving, clean inspections and referrals.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and secure dry van loads on long-haul routes.
- Complete inspections, maintain accurate logs, and report issues.
- Coordinate with dispatch and adhere to delivery instructions.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A and minimum 12 months verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass required screenings.
