OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Columbus, GA by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Work nationwide for HMD Trucking out of Columbus, operating as an OTR solo CDL-A dry van driver on long-haul routes with reliable, scheduled freight and a driver-first dispatch team.
Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver dry van freight across regional and national lanes.
- Complete DOT-compliant logs, pre/post-trip inspections and delivery paperwork.
- Coordinate with dispatch to maintain schedules and punctual deliveries.
Equipment & pay: Pay begins at 65 CPM with weekly averages around 2,500 miles and bonuses for safe driving, clean inspections and referrals. The fleet features tractors under three years with APUs, inverters and sleepers, supported by in-house maintenance. Home every two weeks and full benefits (health, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k)).
Requirements: Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable driving experience.
