OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Dallas, TX by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Run nationwide OTR routes with HMD Trucking out of Dallas, TX as a solo CDL‑A dry van driver. You will operate late‑model tractors (under three years old) outfitted with APUs, inverters and sleeper cabs, backed by company maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver dry van freight safely across regional and long‑distance lanes.
- Perform thorough pre/post‑trip inspections and keep precise logs.
- Communicate with dispatch to optimize routing and on‑time deliveries.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL‑A and at least 12 months verifiable experience.
- Adherence to DOT regulations and clean inspection practices.
Pay starts at 65¢/mile (weekly averages ~2,500 miles) with safety/referral bonuses, biweekly home time, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k). Join a team focused on driver success and safety.
