OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Dundalk, MD by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Operate dry van freight nationwide while based in Dundalk, MD for a driver-focused carrier. You’ll run OTR lanes, maintain timely deliveries, and look after company equipment in late-model tractors equipped with sleepers, APUs, and inverters.
What you'll do:
- Safely operate dry van trailers across interstate routes and long-haul runs.
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and manage delivery paperwork.
- Coordinate with dispatch to optimize schedules and meet customer windows.
HMD offers mileage pay starting at 65 CPM (averaging ~2,500 miles/week), safety/referral bonuses, dependable in-house maintenance, and full benefits. Candidates must hold a CDL-A and have at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience; home time is every two weeks.
