OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Gainesville, FL by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Join HMD Trucking in Gainesville to haul dry van freight nationwide as an OTR solo driver. You’ll operate late-model equipment under three years old with APUs, inverters and sleepers, averaging roughly 2,500 miles weekly on scheduled lanes. Reliable in-house maintenance keeps trucks road-ready so you can concentrate on safe, on-time deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport freight across interstate routes and meet delivery timelines.
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and keep accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with dispatch and comply with ELD/DOT standards.
Requirements & perks: CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months OTR experience required. Pay starts at 65 CPM with bonuses, home every two weeks, health/dental/vision, PTO and 401(k).
