OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Garland, TX by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Join HMD's OTR dry van fleet based in Garland, TX, hauling freight coast-to-coast. You’ll run consistent national lanes in late-model tractors (under 3 years) fitted with APUs, inverters and sleepers, and benefit from dedicated in-house maintenance support.
Your daily work:
- Safely transport dry van freight on long-haul OTR routes.
- Complete accurate logs, inspections, and paperwork.
- Communicate with dispatch to meet delivery windows.
Compensation & schedule: $0.65 CPM, averaging ~2,500 miles weekly, plus safety, inspection and referral bonuses; typically home every two weeks and full benefits.
Requirements: Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable experience. HMD values safety and supports drivers with a driver-focused culture for long-term success.
