- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Operate over-the-road dry van runs for HMD Trucking out of Hendersonville, TN, moving freight nationwide in late-model tractors (under 3 years) fitted with APUs, inverters, and sleepers. You’ll work predictable long-haul lanes with dependable freight and access to responsive in-house maintenance, returning home roughly every two weeks.
Core duties:
- Safely deliver freight on scheduled routes and maintain accurate trip records.
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and basic on-road troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with dispatch to optimize routing and on-time performance.
Requirements & highlights:
- Valid CDL-A and 12+ months verifiable experience.
- Pay starts at 65 CPM, weekly averages near 2,500 miles, with safety bonuses and full benefits including 401(k).
