OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Irving, TX by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

From Irving, TX, join HMD as an experienced OTR solo CDL-A dry van driver running national freight. Drivers operate late-model tractors (typically under three years) outfitted with APUs, inverters and comfortable sleepers, supported by an in-house maintenance team. Expect dependable freight, mileage pay beginning at 65 CPM, and rewards for clean inspections and safe driving, with scheduled home time about every two weeks.
Your Responsibilities:
- Transport dry van loads across OTR routes while meeting schedules and customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and vehicle inspection paperwork.
- Perform basic pre- and post-trip checks and report issues.
Requirements:
- CDL-A license and minimum 12 months of verifiable experience.
- Commitment to safety and professionalism.
