- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

HMD Trucking is looking for experienced solo OTR CDL-A Dry Van drivers serving Leawood, KS to deliver freight across the country. Drivers benefit from consistent OTR freight, late-model trucks under three years with APUs, inverters and sleepers, plus dependable in-house maintenance. Compensation starts at 65 CPM with weekly averages near 2,500 miles and additional bonuses for safe driving and clean inspections.
Your Responsibilities:
- Operate dry van equipment safely and deliver freight on schedule.
- Accurately maintain logs, manifests and electronic records.
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Liaise with dispatch to ensure route efficiency.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable experience.
- Reliable, safety-focused work ethic.
