OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Macon, GA by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
HMD is hiring OTR solo CDL-A dry van drivers operating out of Macon, GA to haul freight across the country. You’ll run long-haul lanes, manage load securement, perform drop-and-hook and occasional live unloads, and represent a carrier that prioritizes safety and on-time delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Safely operate late-model tractors and dry vans on interstate routes.
- Maintain accurate ELD logs, complete pre/post-trip inspections, and document deliveries.
- Communicate with dispatch and customers to keep schedules and resolve issues.
What we offer: Late-model trucks (<3 years) with APUs, inverters, and sleepers; in-house maintenance; pay starting at 65 CPM with ~2,500 weekly miles, safety/inspection/referral bonuses, home every two weeks, and full benefits. CDL-A and 12+ months verifiable experience required.
