OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Nicholasville, KY by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Operate as an OTR solo CDL-A dry van driver operating nationwide freight from Nicholasville, KY. The role provides steady long-haul miles (around 2,500/week) with predictable home time every two weeks, driving modern sleeper tractors under three years old equipped with APUs and inverters and supported by in-house maintenance.
Core duties:
- Safely deliver dry van loads on schedule, maintain ELD/logbook accuracy, and secure shipments.
- Perform detailed pre- and post-trip inspections and report defects promptly.
- Coordinate with dispatch and manage delivery documentation.
Requirements & pay: CDL-A license and at least 12 months OTR experience required; compensation begins at 65 CPM with safety and referral bonuses plus full benefits and a 401(k).
