Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Run OTR dry van freight nationwide from North Pownal, VT with HMD Trucking as a solo CDL‑A driver. The role offers consistent miles—starting at 65¢/mile and averaging about 2,500 miles per week—plus performance bonuses and referral incentives. Our fleet is under three years old and fitted with APUs, inverters and sleepers, supported by dedicated in‑house maintenance to keep equipment road‑ready.
Your Responsibilities:
- Safely transport and deliver freight while complying with DOT/FMCSA standards.
- Perform pre/post‑trip checks and ensure proper cargo securement.
- Maintain accurate driver logs and timely communication with dispatch.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL‑A and minimum 12 months verifiable driving experience. Full benefits and home every two weeks.
