OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Ocala, FL by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Operate as an over-the-road solo Dry Van driver based in Ocala, FL, moving freight nationwide for a driver-focused carrier. Compensation begins at 65 CPM with weekly averages near 2,500 miles and additional bonuses for safe driving and referrals.
What you'll do:
- Safely operate a CDL-A dry van tractor, observe hours-of-service and company policies.
- Deliver freight on schedule, handle paperwork, communicate with dispatch, and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months of verifiable experience.
- Clean driving history and ability to pass required screenings.
HMD provides late-model tractors with APUs, inverters and sleepers, in-house maintenance, regular home time every two weeks and full benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and a 401(k).
