OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Plano, TX by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Serve nationwide routes for HMD Trucking from Plano, TX as a solo CDL‑A dry van operator. Fleet equipment includes modern tractors under three years old with APUs, inverters and sleeper cabs, supported by in‑house maintenance teams.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport dry van freight across regional and national lanes.
- Conduct comprehensive pre/post‑trip inspections and maintain accurate driving logs.
- Liaise with dispatch to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL‑A and minimum 12 months verifiable driving experience.
- Commitment to DOT safety and clean inspection practices.
Pay starts at 65¢/mile with weekly averages around 2,500 miles, plus safety and referral bonuses, biweekly home time, and full benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k). Join a driver‑focused team that prioritizes safety and steady freight.
