- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Based out of Poultney, VT, HMD Trucking is recruiting solo CDL-A drivers to run dry-van freight across the country. You’ll handle long-haul dispatches, ensure cargo is secured, and follow company safety standards for reliable deliveries.
Daily duties:
- Operate company dry-van tractors on nationwide routes and secure loads for transport.
- Perform routine pre/post-trip checks and coordinate repairs with our maintenance team.
- Communicate with dispatch, manage paperwork, and maintain timely deliveries.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable driving experience.
- Strong safety focus and dependable work ethic.
HMD offers starting pay at 65 CPM, modern equipment (APUs, inverters, sleepers), bonuses, in-house maintenance and benefits with home every two weeks.
