OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Providence, RI by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Based in Providence, RI, you’ll operate as an OTR solo CDL-A dry van driver running freight nationwide. Responsibilities center on safe long-haul driving, schedule adherence, and professional representation of HMD.
What you'll do:
- Transport dry van loads coast-to-coast, meeting time-sensitive delivery commitments.
- Keep accurate logs and perform DOT-required pre/post-trip inspections.
- Coordinate with dispatch and ensure shipments remain secure.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months of verifiable experience.
HMD offers 65 CPM starting pay with approximately 2,500 miles weekly, bonuses for safety and referrals, modern trucks under three years (APUs, inverters, sleepers), in-house maintenance, home every two weeks, and full benefits.
