OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Raleigh, NC by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Drive nationwide dry van freight while operating from Raleigh, NC as an OTR solo CDL-A driver for HMD Trucking. The role focuses on safe, dependable delivery performance, accurate logs, and adherence to federal and company safety standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate dry van and sleeper-equipped tractors on long-haul OTR lanes.
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and complete DVIRs.
- Maintain communication with dispatch and follow assigned routes.
HMD provides strong pay starting at 65 CPM with typical weekly mileage near 2,500, modern under‑3‑year trucks with APUs and inverters, reliable in-house maintenance, biweekly home time, and comprehensive benefits. Must have a CDL-A and at least 12 months' experience.
