Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Based in Readsboro, VT, you'll run solo OTR dry-van freight nationwide, providing consistent, safe deliveries across long-haul routes. HMD supplies modern tractors with sleepers, APUs and inverters and backs drivers with reliable in-house maintenance for smooth operations.
What you'll do:
- Operate dry van equipment on national lanes, ensuring freight integrity and timely deliveries.
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and escalate equipment issues to maintenance.
- Stay in close contact with dispatch for optimized routing and pickup/drop-off coordination.
Qualifications & perks:
- Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable driving experience.
- Starting pay at 65 CPM, typical weekly mileage averages, safety/referral incentives, scheduled home time every two weeks, plus full benefits and retirement plan.
