Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Operate long-haul dry van freight nationwide from Smyrna, GA as part of HMD Trucking’s solo OTR fleet. You’ll run consistent miles in modern tractors under three years old—equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers—backed by in-house maintenance and safety-focused dispatch.
Key responsibilities:
- Safely operate and deliver dry van freight on long-haul routes while complying with DOT/FMCSA rules.
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections, maintain accurate ELD/logbook records and secure loads.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and handle delivery paperwork.
Requirements & opportunity:
- Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable experience. Competitive pay (starting 65 CPM), safety/referral bonuses, full benefits, 401(k) and roughly biweekly home time.
