OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Suffolk, VA by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Operate nationwide dry-van lanes out of Suffolk, VA for HMD Trucking, handling long-haul OTR runs with reliable, scheduled freight. You'll drive late-model tractors with sleepers, APUs and inverters while following DOT rules and company procedures.
Primary responsibilities:
- Safely operate assigned tractor-trailer across interstate routes
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and logbooks
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch and customers
HMD supports drivers with in-house maintenance, predictable freight and pay starting at 65 CPM with strong weekly miles. Candidates need a valid CDL-A and at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience; home time is approximately every two weeks.
