OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Westland, MI by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Partner with HMD Trucking from Westland, MI as an OTR solo CDL A dry van driver transporting freight coast-to-coast. You’ll earn mileage pay starting at 65 CPM with weekly averages of around 2,500 miles plus incentives for safe driving, clean inspections and referrals. Our modern fleet (under three years) offers sleepers, APUs and inverters, and our in-house maintenance keeps equipment reliable. Assignments provide predictable national freight, home every two weeks, and full benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and a 401(k).
Primary responsibilities:
- Operate dry van tractor-trailer on long-haul routes safely and professionally.
- Maintain accurate logs, inspections and delivery documentation.
- Secure freight and comply with DOT and company protocols.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL A license and minimum 12 months of verifiable experience.
- Commitment to safety and professional driver standards.
