Flatbed Company Driver W2 Truck Driving Jobs - Akron, OH
HMD Trucking is hiring experienced OTR Solo CDL A Flatbed Drivers to transport freight across the nation. We provide strong mileage pay starting at $0.65 per mile, with performance bonuses of +$0.05 CPM for safety and productivity, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus!
Our drivers have access to modern trucks from our fleet of over 500 vehicles, featuring:
- APUs for comfort
- Inverters for convenience
- Spacious sleeper cabs
- Removable rider seats
- Full in-house maintenance support
You’ll be paid for every haul (tarp or not), enjoy regular home time, and have access to full benefits including:

If you possess a Class A CDL and have a minimum of 12 months of OTR flatbed experience, join HMD for competitive pay, reliable freight, and a team that prioritizes your safety and success.
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- 6 months of flatbed experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
