HazMat Company Truck Driver (W-2) - Ames, IA
HMD Trucking is looking for experienced OTR Solo CDL A Drivers to transport HAZMAT freight throughout the country.
What We Provide:
- Competitive mileage pay starting at 60 CPM, plus an additional 4 CPM for hazmat loads.
- Weekly average of approximately 2,500 miles.
- Bonus opportunities for clean inspections and safe driving.
- Regular home time every two weeks, with a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL A license and a minimum of 12 months of OTR experience required.
- Must be adept at safely handling hazardous materials.

Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

- CPM $0.60 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- +$0.04 CPM Split when hauling hazmat
