Hazmat Company Truck Driver W2 - Berlin, MD

Join HMD Trucking as we look for skilled OTR Solo CDL A Drivers to manage HAZMAT freight across the nation.

What We Provide:

  • Competitive mileage pay starting at 60 CPM, plus an additional 4 CPM for hazmat transport.
  • Average weekly miles around 2,500.
  • Incentives for safe driving, clean inspections, and referrals.
  • Access to modern trucks under 3 years old, equipped with APUs, inverters, and comfortable sleeping areas.
  • Reliable in-house maintenance support.
  • Home every three weeks, with a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

Requirements for Applicants:

  • A valid CDL A license and at least 12 months of driving experience.
  • A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to teamwork.

Requirements

  • 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
  • Hazmat endorsement
  • No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
  • No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
  • No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
  • Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

  • CPM $0.60 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
  • +$0.04 CPM Split when hauling hazmat
