OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in East Poultney, VT by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

- CPM $0.65 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- +$0.02 CPM when hauling hazmat

Based out of East Poultney, VT, you’ll haul HAZMAT freight coast to coast, prioritizing safety and compliance.
Experience top-tier equipment with modern trucks (under 3 years old) featuring APUs, inverters, and comfortable sleepers, backed by in-house maintenance for reliable operations.
Role Highlights:
- Manage long-haul routes, averaging 2,500 miles weekly
- Adhere to federal and state HAZMAT regulations
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
Enjoy regular home time every two weeks and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k). Candidates need a valid CDL A license and at least 12 months of experience.
