Team OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in Gary, SD by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.77 Split
- +$0.05 CPM Safety & productivity bonus split
- +$0.02 CPM Split when hauling hazmat
- Home time: 3 weeks out, 3 nights at home

Embark from Gary, SD with HMD Trucking’s tandem CDL A crews hauling dry van HAZMAT across the U.S. Starting split pay is 77 CPM plus an additional 2 CPM for hazardous loads.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate as a two-driver team to transport hazmat safely
- Comply with federal and company safety regulations
- Perform comprehensive inspections before, during, and after runs
Average around 5,000 miles weekly in modern trucks equipped with APUs, inverters, and sleepers. Gain access to reliable in-house maintenance, safety and clean-inspection bonuses, and full benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k), with home time every three weeks.
