HazMat Company Truck Driver (W-2) - Iowa City, IA
HMD Trucking is seeking experienced OTR Solo CDL A Drivers to operate HAZMAT freight nationally.
We Offer:
- Competitive mileage pay starting at 60 CPM, with an extra 4 CPM for hazmat transport.
- Average of 2,500 miles per week.
- Bonuses for safe driving, clean inspections, and referrals.
- Consistent home time every two weeks with a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.
Requirements:
- A valid CDL A license and at least 12 months of OTR driving experience.
- Must be skilled in safely transporting hazardous materials.

Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.60 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- +$0.04 CPM Split when hauling hazmat
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles
- Detention Pay: $15 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $100 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
