Team OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in Johnson City, TN by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.82 Split ( when 95% service is achieved)
- +$0.05 CPM Safety & productivity bonus split
- +$0.02 CPM Split when hauling hazmat
- Home time: 3 weeks out, 3 nights at home

Join HMD Trucking’s OTR team in Johnson City, TN, as a CDL A driver hauling HAZMAT dry van freight across the country.
You’ll maintain efficient, compliant routes with weekly averages around 5,000 miles and leverage strong mileage pay plus additional incentives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport hazardous materials safely and on schedule
- Adhere to federal and state regulations and maintain detailed logs
- Coordinate with dispatch to optimize routing and deliveries
Operate modern late-model trucks equipped with APUs, inverters, and sleepers, backed by dedicated in-house maintenance. Enjoy home time every two weeks and full benefits, including health, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k). A CDL A license with 12 months of experience and a Hazmat endorsement is required.
