Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

- CPM $0.65 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- +$0.02 CPM when hauling hazmat
- $2,500 sign-on bonus
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

Hit the road from Louisville, KY with HMD Trucking’s nationwide hazmat routes.
As a solo CDL A driver, you’ll leverage under-3-year trucks with sleepers, APUs, inverters, and dedicated shop support.
Your Responsibilities:
- Safely transport hazardous freight coast to coast
- Keep accurate logs and inspection paperwork
- Comply with all FMCSA and hazmat protocols
What We Offer: 65¢/mi base pay plus 4¢/mi hazmat premium, around 2,500 miles weekly, full health and retirement benefits, home every two weeks, and a driver-focused safety culture.
