HazMat Company Truck Driver (W-2) - Newport, RI

Join HMD Trucking as an experienced OTR Solo CDL A Driver, running HAZMAT freight throughout the country.

Our Offerings Include:

  • Starting pay at 60 CPM, with an additional 4 CPM for HAZMAT loads.
  • Average weekly mileage around 2,500 miles.
  • Bonuses for safe driving, clean inspections, and referrals.

Drivers will operate modern trucks under 3 years old, featuring APUs, inverters, and comfortable sleeping accommodations. We provide dependable in-house maintenance support to keep your vehicle running smoothly.

Home Time:

  • Home every two weeks for quality time with family.

If you possess a CDL A license with a minimum of 12 months of experience, HMD offers competitive compensation, reliable freight, and a team that values your safety and career growth.

Requirements

  • 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
  • Hazmat endorsement
  • No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
  • No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
  • No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
  • Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

  • CPM $0.60 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
  • +$0.04 CPM Split when hauling hazmat
