Hazmat Company Truck Driver (W2) - Silver Spring, MD

HMD Trucking is seeking experienced OTR Team CDL A Dry Van Drivers to handle HAZMAT freight throughout the country. Here’s what we offer:

  • Competitive mileage pay starting at 77 CPM Split, plus an additional 4 CPM when transporting hazmat.
  • Weekly mileage averages of about 5,000 miles.
  • Bonuses for maintaining safe driving records, clean inspections, and for referrals.

Our drivers work with modern trucks that are less than 3 years old, featuring APUs, inverters, and comfortable sleeping areas. We have reliable in-house maintenance to support you.

If you have a CDL A license with at least 12 months of experience and a Hazmat endorsement, HMD is the right place for competitive pay and a commitment to your safety and success.

Requirements

  • 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
  • Hazmat endorsement
  • No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
  • No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
  • No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
  • Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

  • +$0.05 CPM Safety & productivity bonus split
  • +$0.04 CPM Split when hauling hazmat

  • Orientation Pay: $150
