About company
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.65 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- +$0.02 CPM when hauling hazmat
- $2,500 sign-on bonus
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150

Take the wheel on nationwide HazMat routes with HMD Trucking as an OTR solo driver.
Our fleet features late-model tractors with APUs, inverters, and spacious sleepers—all backed by in-house maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport hazardous materials across state lines
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
- Complete thorough pre- and post-trip inspections
- Keep accurate logs and communicate effectively with dispatch
- Ensure on-time deliveries and maintain professional conduct
