OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in South Ozone Park, NY by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.65 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- +$0.02 CPM when hauling hazmat

Key Responsibilities:
- Transport hazardous freight safely and efficiently
- Adhere to DOT and HAZMAT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch for optimized route planning
Enjoy mileage pay starting at 65 CPM (+2 CPM for hazmat) with weekly averages near 2,500 miles, plus bonuses for safety, clean inspections, and referrals. Home every two weeks, backed by modern trucks (APUs, inverters, sleepers) and in-house maintenance support, plus full benefits: health, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k).
Qualifications:
