HazMat Company Truck Driver (W-2) - Towson, MD

HMD Trucking is seeking experienced OTR Solo CDL A Drivers to transport HAZMAT freight nationwide.

What We Offer You:

  • Competitive mileage pay beginning at 60 CPM, plus an additional 4 CPM for hazmat loads.
  • Average weekly miles of approximately 2,500, with bonuses for safe driving and clean inspections.
  • Access to modern trucks (less than 3 years old) equipped with APUs, inverters, and comfortable sleeping quarters.
  • Reliable in-house maintenance support for your peace of mind.
  • Regular home time every two weeks, along with full benefits that include health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

Your Qualifications:

  • A valid CDL A license and at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience.
  • A strong focus on safety and a commitment to excellence.

Requirements

  • 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
  • Hazmat endorsement
  • No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
  • No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
  • No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
  • Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

  • CPM $0.60 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
  • +$0.04 CPM Split when hauling hazmat
