Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 Job - Asheville, NC
American Trucking Group is on the lookout for CDL-A drivers for our OTR dry van positions in Asheville. Experience weekly home time with a convenient 34-hour reset. Our freight is mainly dry van, with 95% being no-touch and 85% drop and hook, which translates to less physical effort.
Earnings Potential:
- Average weekly pay of $1,150 to $1,500 based on your driving performance and mileage.
- Operating areas include GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.
- Drive modern trucks like International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth with 1,500-watt inverters and the Opti-Idle system.
- Trucks and trailers can be taken home if there's a safe parking spot available.

- Vacation pay and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3%.
- Passenger policy after 30 days of employment, subject to age restrictions.
Additional Compensation:
- Detention pay per customer policy and layover pay at $12/hour after the first hour.
- Annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.
- All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Orientation Process:
- Three-day orientation from Tuesday to Thursday at multiple locations.
- Includes transportation, a private hotel room, and meals during orientation.
Requirements
- • Valid CDL Class A license
- • Clean driving record
- • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
- • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
