Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Ashland, KY
Are you a CDL-A driver in search of an OTR position that ensures weekly home time with minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we offer reliable dry van routes across the Midwest with excellent equipment and competitive pay.
Home Time: You’ll be home every week for a 34-hour reset, allowing you to balance family and personal commitments while driving consistent miles.
Equipment: Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling. You can take your assigned truck and trailer home when safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight: Most of the freight is dry van, featuring 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations, minimizing physical work and allowing you to focus on driving.
Pay and Miles: Drivers earn an average of $1,100 per week, depending on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay based on customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.
Running Area: Routes cover Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Kentucky, with all tolls covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance will begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Additionally, we offer $20,000 company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days with age restrictions.
