Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 Job - Athens, GA
American Trucking Group is seeking qualified CDL-A drivers for a regional dry van position in Athens, GA that offers weekly home time with a 34-hour reset. This role primarily deals with dry van freight, with 95% being no-touch and 85% drop and hook, ensuring minimal physical effort.
Average Salary:
- Drivers can expect to make between $1,150 and $1,500 weekly based on mileage and individual performance.
Service Areas:
- Covering regions in GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.
Fleet Information:
- Drive our fleet of late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, all fitted with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for climate control.
- Trucks may be taken home if there’s a safe parking option available.

Orientation Schedule:
- Three-day orientation from Tuesday to Thursday across several locations, including Alvarado, TX; Atlanta, GA; Chester, VA; Juliet, TN; Jacksonville, FL; Tacoma, WA; Medford, OR; and Phoenix, AZ.
- Transportation, hotel stay, and meals are included during the orientation process.
Requirements
- • Valid CDL Class A license
- • Clean driving record
- • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
- • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
