Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Atlanta, GA
Are you a CDL-A driver looking for an OTR position with weekly home time and minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes throughout the Southeast, featuring top-notch equipment and competitive pay. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while keeping a consistent schedule that guarantees you are home every week.
Home Time:
- Home weekly for a 34-hour reset, allowing you to balance work and family commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling.
- Take your assigned truck and trailer home, provided there is safe parking.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily handling dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations, minimizing physical labor and focusing on driving efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Average earnings of $975 per week, based on mileage and performance.
- Additional compensation includes detention pay per customer policy, $12 per hour layover pay after the first hour, and a $0.01 per mile annual safety bonus for accident-free driving.
Running Area:
- Routes covering Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and South Carolina, with all tolls covered via EZ Pass and toll cards.
