Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 Job - Atlanta, GA
American Trucking Group is actively seeking skilled CDL-A drivers for a regional dry van role that guarantees weekly home time and a 34-hour reset. This position features minimal physical demands as 95% of the freight is no-touch and 85% utilizes drop and hook.
Compensation:
- Average earnings of $1,150 to $1,500 weekly based on mileage and performance.
Operating Regions:
- Primarily servicing GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.
Our Fleet:
- Drive late-model trucks including International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth models, equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for optimal comfort.
- Drivers can take their truck and trailer home, provided there's a safe parking spot.
Benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance starting on the first of the month after 60 days.
- Company-paid life insurance of $20,000.
- Vacation pay and a 401(k) with a 50% match up to 3%.
- After 30 days, a passenger policy is available with age restrictions.
Additional Compensation:
- Detention pay as per customer policies.
- Layover pay of $12 per hour after the first hour.
- Annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
- All tolls covered through EZ Pass.
Orientation:
- Three-day orientation from Tuesday to Thursday at various locations, including Alvarado, TX; Atlanta, GA; Chester, VA; Juliet, TN; Jacksonville, FL; Tacoma, WA; Medford, OR; and Phoenix, AZ.
- Transportation, hotel accommodations, and meals will be provided during orientation.
Requirements
- • Valid CDL Class A license
- • Clean driving record
- • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
- • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
