Regional Dry Van Company Driver (W-2) - Bennettsville, SC
Join American Trucking Group and become a CDL-A Regional Dry Van Driver, enjoying the benefit of home time every week with a 34-hour reset.
Job Highlights:
- Handle primarily dry van freight, with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook, ensuring minimal physical effort required.
- Average earnings range between $1,150 and $1,500 weekly, depending on mileage and performance.
- Covering regions include GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.
Equipment & Benefits:
- Drive late-model trucks including International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth, equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and the Opti-Idle system for efficient temperature control.
- Drivers can take their truck and trailer home if there’s a secure parking spot.
- Benefits begin on the first of the month after 60 days, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus $20,000 in company-paid life insurance.
- Enjoy vacation pay and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3%.
- A passenger policy is available after 30 days of employment, with age restrictions depending on the season.
Additional Compensation:
- Detention pay based on customer policy, and layover pay at $12/hour after the first hour.
- An annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for maintaining an accident-free record.
- All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Orientation:
- Orientation lasts three days from Tuesday to Thursday, held at multiple locations.
- We provide transportation by bus or train, along with a private hotel room and meals during orientation.
Requirements
- • Valid CDL Class A license
- • Clean driving record
- • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
- • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
