Regional Dry Van Company Driver - Bethany, LA
Are you a skilled CDL-A driver looking for an over-the-road (OTR) role that allows you to return home weekly with minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes throughout the South Central region with top-notch equipment and competitive pay.
Home Time: Enjoy the benefit of being home every week for a 34-hour reset, ensuring you can spend quality time with family and manage personal commitments.
Equipment: Operate late-model trucks including International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth vehicles, all equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for your comfort. You can take your assigned truck and trailer home, provided safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight: Most of our freight is dry van, with 95% being no-touch and 85% drop-and-hook operations. This means less physical work, allowing you to concentrate on driving and improving your efficiency.
Pay and Miles: Drivers typically earn between $1,100 to $1,500 weekly, based on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes:
- Detention pay based on customer policies.
- Layover pay of $12 per hour after the first hour.
- An annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area: Routes span across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kansas, and Missouri, with all tolls covered via EZ Pass and toll cards.
