Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 Job - Bridgeport, CT
Are you a CDL-A driver looking for an OTR position that provides weekly home time and low physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes throughout the Northeast with top-notch equipment and attractive compensation. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while enjoying a consistent schedule that ensures you return home each week.
Home Time: You will be home weekly for a 34-hour reset. Our OTR routes are structured to ensure steady miles while allowing you to maintain quality time with family and personal commitments.
Equipment: Drive modern International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, all equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling. You can take your assigned truck and trailer home as long as there is safe parking available.
No Touch Freight: We primarily handle dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations. This means minimal physical effort on your part, enabling you to concentrate on driving and maximizing your efficiency.
Pay and Miles: Our drivers earn between $1,000 and $1,450 weekly, depending on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay as per customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area: Our routes extend across the Northeast, from Maine to Virginia, with all tolls covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
