Regional Dry Van Company Driver (W-2) - Canton, GA
American Trucking Group is hiring skilled CDL-A drivers for a regional dry van position in Canton, GA. Experience the benefit of weekly home time and a 34-hour reset.
Job Overview:
- Focus on dry van freight, with 95% being no-touch and 85% drop and hook, ensuring minimal physical exertion.
- Average earnings are between $1,150 and $1,500 weekly, based on mileage and performance.
- Service areas include GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.
- Drive late-model trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and the Opti-Idle system.
Benefits and Compensation:
- Start receiving benefits on the first of the month after 60 days, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match.
- Passenger policy available after 30 days (age restrictions apply).
- No pet policy.
Additional Compensation:
- Detention pay as per customer policy and layover pay of $12 per hour after the first hour.
- Earn an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for safe driving. All tolls are covered via EZ Pass.
Orientation Information:
- Orientation lasts three days from Tuesday to Thursday at multiple locations, including Canton, GA.
- We provide transportation, hotel accommodations, and meals during your orientation.
Requirements
- • Valid CDL Class A license
- • Clean driving record
- • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
- • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
