Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Carmel, IN
Are you a CDL-A driver in pursuit of an OTR position that guarantees weekly home time and minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes across the Midwest with top-quality equipment and competitive compensation. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while maintaining a consistent schedule that gets you home each week.
Home Time:
- Home every week for a 34-hour reset, ensuring you maintain a solid balance between family time and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive modern International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks outfitted with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for efficient heating and cooling. You may take your assigned truck and trailer home if safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily focused on dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop-and-hook operations, minimizing physical work and allowing you to enhance your driving efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers typically earn between $1,200 to $1,600 per week, depending on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay based on customer policy, layover pay of $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.
Running Area:
- Our routes cover Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Iowa, with all tolls paid through EZ Pass and toll cards.
