Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 Job - Chanute, KS
Are you a CDL-A driver looking for an OTR position that guarantees weekly home time with minimal physical labor? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes throughout the Midwest, featuring top-notch equipment and competitive pay. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while maintaining a reliable schedule that allows you to be home every week.
Home Time:
- Enjoy weekly home time for a 34-hour reset. Our OTR routes are crafted to offer steady miles while ensuring you have regular time for family and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive late-model trucks including International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworths, all equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling. You can take your assigned truck and trailer home if safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily handling dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations. This allows you to concentrate on driving and maximizing your efficiency without heavy lifting.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers typically earn between $1,200 to $1,600 weekly, influenced by mileage and performance. Additional pay includes detention based on customer policy, $12 per hour layover pay after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area:
- Our routes cover Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Iowa. All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
