Regional Dry Van Company Driver (W-2) - Chapel Hill, NC
American Trucking Group is searching for motivated CDL-A drivers for our regional dry van positions in Chapel Hill, NC. Benefit from being home weekly while earning between $1,150 and $1,500 weekly based on your performance and mileage.
What We Offer:
- Regular home time for a 34-hour reset each week.
- Most freight is dry van, with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook deliveries.
- Drive late-model trucks such as International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth, all equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for your comfort.
- Take your truck and trailer home if you have a secure parking location.
Benefits Include:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance available on the first of the month after 60 days.
- Life insurance coverage of $20,000 paid by the company.
- Vacation pay and a 401(k) retirement plan with a 50% match up to 3%.
- A passenger policy available after 30 days of employment.
Additional Compensation:
- Detention pay based on customer policy.
- Layover pay of $12 per hour after the first hour.
- Annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
- All tolls covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Orientation Details:
- Orientation lasts three days from Tuesday to Thursday, with transportation, hotel accommodations, and meals provided.

Requirements
- • Valid CDL Class A license
- • Clean driving record
- • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
