Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 Job - Chapel Hill, NC
American Trucking Group is actively seeking CDL-A drivers for our OTR dry van positions in Chapel Hill. You'll enjoy weekly home time with a 34-hour reset. Most of our freight is dry van, with 95% being no-touch and 85% drop and hook, ensuring minimal physical work.
Highlights of the Position:
- Average earnings between $1,150 and $1,500 per week based on your performance and mileage.
- Operating in areas such as GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.
- Drive late-model trucks including International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth, equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for driver comfort.
- You can take your truck and trailer home if a safe parking location is available.

- A passenger policy is available after 30 days, with age restrictions.
Additional Compensation Opportunities:
- Detention pay according to customer policies, and layover pay at $12/hour after the first hour.
- Annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for drivers with accident-free records.
- All tolls covered with EZ Pass and toll cards.
Orientation Details:
- Three-day orientation from Tuesday to Thursday at various locations.
- We provide transportation, hotel accommodations, and meals during orientation.
Requirements
- • Valid CDL Class A license
- • Clean driving record
- • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
- • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
